Below  your will find a map including the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cologne.

Please note, that currently our building is surrounded by a large construction site (becoming the new home of the Department of Chemistry as of 2025).

We recommend accessing the building via Greinstraße or from the Physics building, both above via the main entrance (large red triangle).

Inside the building, signs will depict the way to the different Institutes of the Department of Chemistry.

Public Transportation

By Train

You arrive at Cologne central station (Hauptbahnhof). Go to the main exit and follow the signs to the underground station. Take line 18 direction Klettenberg, Brühl or Bonn. You can get off the train at the station Eifelwall and walk through the park (see map above description (II, or III)) or Weißhausstraße (walk up the pedestrian bridge and turn to the left, cross the parking lot, and turn right to enter the Chemistry building).

By Plane/Train

You arrive at the airport Köln-Bonn. Take one of the following lines to the main train station Hauptbahnhof and follow the description above: RE6, RE8, S13 or S19

By Car

For navigation please use Greinstraße 5, 50939 Köln.

We recommend the large parking lot at the Unicenter (see map above, yellow box). You can access the parking lot via Universitätsstraße, or via Luxemburger Straße.
